aikiForest is the brainchild of passionate individuals who practice Aikido as a way of life and believe that Aikido has to be shared with more people beyond the dojo (place of training) so that more can benefit.
Aikido is creatively re-interpreted from its traditional format, making it contemporary and inspiring for children. Our mission is to seed in the hearts and minds of children, a genuine love for Aikido, creating a positive ripple effect in and beyond their community.
aikiForest is an affiliate of Aikido Shinju-kai, officially recognised by the Aikido World Headquarters. We are honoured to have Philip Lee Sensei (6th Dan), Chief Instructor of Aikido Shinju-kai, as our Technical Director.

Aikido Shinju-kai
Aikido Shinju-kai was established in 1988 and is led by the Chairman and Chief Instructor Philip F.C.Lee Sensei. Philip Sensei started training the art since 1971 and currently holds a 6th Dan (this is regarded as one of the highest Dan grade in Singapore). Officially recognized by the Aikido World Headquarters, Tokyo, Japan, Shinju-kai the first Aikido organization in Singapore to establish a permanent Dojo and office for its Headquarters. Daily classes are conducted for adults, children as well as private and group classes. Shinju-kai has a team of over 50 Instructors, 100 Assistants and our members include a good mixture of children and adults of all ages with a total strength of over 10,000, out of which about 3000 are children (age between 5-12 years).
Aimed with the purpose of promoting Aikido to wider communities in Singapore, Aikido Shinju-kai has expanded its Dojos steadily and now conducts classes in more than 54 Dojos island wide, including Dojos at government institutions and private clubs. Shinju-kai is the first organization that provides Aikido training for Singapore Armed forces (Guards Unit), Singapore Police Force HomeTeam Academy & Gurkha Contingent and the Singapore Airlines cabin crew since 1999. Aikido Shinju-kai has also expanded to China, Malaysia and Indonesia.

Ingenio Pte Ltd
Ingenio Pte Ltd was founded in 2005 to specialize in the use of innovative curriculum and technology to foster creativity & enhance learning.
